Amy Anzinger (RTC, 3434) is a passionate counsellor, life engineering practitioner, and sound therapist. As a result of her struggles and obstacles in life, she searched for answers on how to heal herself holistically. For over a decade, Amy has been studying the science and philosophy of yoga and psychology. She has a diploma in professional counselling, holistic life coaching, mind-body practitioner, and a certificate in sound therapy.
Studying yoga has led her on an upward journey of discovering a superior scientific technique of self-realization for overcoming all personal sufferings. Being enlightened with the wisdom of how our habitual nature affects us, Amy understands that by controlling our minds through our intellect and heart, we can all have better command over our bodies and our lives. With this insight, she has combined this knowledge with her experiences and has turned it into wisdom. While she continues to bring wholeness into her inner being, she understands that life is a long journey, and there is always more to learn and experience.
Amy wants to help others bring awareness to their innate abilities to heal themselves holistically. Her life's calling is to guide people who want to achieve self-growth and healing through learning the art of reconstructing their inner state of being. Which, in turn, will bring freedom from suffering, transform their outer world and live life to its highest potential.

growth and healing
My Approach
Existential reality therapy, choice theory, gestalt therapy and multimodal approaches formulate my interactive approach. My notion is based on the idea that when humans awaken to self-realization that we cannot control what happens to us in life, but we can control what we feel and how we will respond; then suffering is only a choice.
My counselling style will help clients work towards developing control of their mental afflictions through a series of steps. I believe in building a solid foundational knowledge of the mind-body connection, strengthening self-awareness first, and then building upwards. What matters is my client's current state of being. What thoughts, emotions and behaviours are working or not working for them now in the present moment. Once people know what is driving them, they can begin to learn to self-regulate.
Acknowledging the past is a way to discover the origins of faulty subconscious programming. However, the goal is to move beyond that past framework and permanently reprogram the subconscious to the current desired behaviour, changing from their old state of being to a new one. Reprogramming will take time and at a pace set by the client. In collaboration with the client and myself, a therapy program will be developed that includes but is not limited to, talk therapy, developing self-awareness, behaviour modification, goal planning, and taking responsibility for their current state of being.
All human beings have the innate ability to heal themselves from mental or psychical afflictions. My goal is to assist and guide clients to improve their inner state of being and discover their highest potential and overcome any obstacles in life that prevent them from achieving happiness and fulfilment. It is important that clients understand they are not alone, that there is a way to overcome the past no matter how hard or tragic it was, and that there is a way to change their current state of being. The person they were yesterday and the person they are today does not have to be the same person tomorrow. People have a choice today, and once they understand that they are responsible for their life, can they then move forward to conquer their suffering. They will achieve their goals, be independent problem solvers and walk away with the ability to cope with whatever life brings to them.
